Bradgate Park located just a few mile from Leicester City centre, has a lot to offer the photographer. There are old ruins, rocky outcrops, broken laiden hills, woodland, river and a 400 year old deer herd.

A small group of photography friends spent a very cold morning trying to capture the rocky outcrops as the sun rose above the Soar Valley. Although all of the elements came together, frosty morning, reasonable cloudy sky and a good sunset, the location challenges the photographer to capture interesting images. Great thing about Bradgate, is it's close to home and therefore easy to return to on another occasion.
