Took my campervan into the Peak District for its first trip of the year and then met up with some photography friends for one day.

The first evening and the filling morning explored Higgor Tor for both sunset & sunrise. Both performed well and I managed some nice images in the bitterly cold temperatures. Day 2 was nice stroll along Bamford Edge with its views to the Lady Bower Reservoir.

Early morning day 3. Meet up with friends to explore the potential of Winnats Pass. What a fantastic morning. We had everything we had hoped for, Inversion layer in the Hope Valley, Sunrise, almost no wind, perfect conditions. Numerous images of the inversion and then some intimate landscapes of the tree popping out of the mist in varying degrees. MAGICAL.
